Thanks to the generosity of Keswick Theatre, join PFS/MAC on Tuesday, March 18th at the Annex. @ 7 PM join Whirled Music (Phyllis Chapell & Ken Ulansey) for a FREE evening of multi-genre/multilingual folk/jazz-tinged music at Annex (7– 8 p.m.; doors open at 6:30 p.m.) All PFS members (and potential members!) are welcome. Stop by our membership table! The bar will be open! Following the main act, there will be an opportunity for local artists to shine in our in-person, PFS open Mic. About the Artists:
Ken Ulansey and Phyllis Chapell have been blending their music for over 25 years, mixing influences and styles. As a duo, they draw from traditions as diverse as the Middle East, Europe, Brazil, Ireland, India, and the American songbook. Their travels through these cultures lend an authenticity that's wonderful and rare! Phyllis has developed a universal musical style, singing “world songs” and award-winning originals and performing in concert around the world. Ken has played classical music (Philip Glass), jazz, latin, and folk music (Susan Werner, Steve Goodman), from Lincoln Center to the Taj Mahal. Together they weave unforgettable musical stories!
