Artists leading this experience:
Award winning Manuel Gutierrez has enjoyed a prolific career, headlining flamenco festivals in Spain, Albuquerque, Los Angeles and throughout the world. The Telegraph in London called his work “Fiery" and Figarro raved “The dance is strong, voluptuous, and spectacular... a profound type of Flamenco and incredibly explosive.”
Pepele Méndez is a singer who was born in Jerez de La Frontera, Spain into the legendary Méndez clan, a dynasty of singers from La Plazuela.
Andres Vadin’s talent spans genres while highlighting the flamenco guitar as a universal instrument with no boundaries. He graduated from the Guillermo Tomas and Almadeo Roldan Conservatory in Habana, Cuba and his worldwide career has included collaborations on Latin Grammy-nominated albums.
Artistic Director:
María Bermúdez is a world-renowned artist and director of Maria Bermudez Flamenco. She has exposed audiences across the world to the unique style and sound of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain — recognized as the birthplace of Flamenco. Her critically acclaimed performances have graced venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Lope de Vega in Sevilla, Lincoln Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall and most recently, at Lobero Theatre where she presented her Spain-based company 'Sonidos Gitanos.'
