Peña del Aguila is the tallest peak to be found in Calblanque Regional Park. This route, recently opened, follows one of the main mining paths in the nature reserve to take you half way of that hill, up to a vantage point from which stunning views of Portmán Bay, together with the whole mining sierra, can be enjoyed. Tour is resumed then by leading you, already over flat ground, to one of the main mining complexes in the Sierra, that of Sancti Espiritu, nowadays neglected. After learning about the activities performed here we’ll start our way back beholding amazing views of the Mar Menor Lagoon.
