Petsense Middlesboro Ky will be hosting a fundraiser with their products for purchase as well as having an educational event with several of our USDA educational ambassador wildlife. We were recently affected by the devastating tornados in London. We could use help with donations to rebuild our facility and to continue to educate the public about our native Kentucky wildlife.
Go by Petsense for a list of things needed for donations at any time this month. Any questions about anyone wanting to set up a booth for this event can be directed to Shannon Johnson at PetSense at 606-242-9046 or by stopping by Petsense in Middlesboro.
Wilderness Trail Wildlife Center is a 501(C)3, non profit. We provide all of our services free of cost for orphaned and injured wildlife in Kentucky. We don’t get paid for what we do. Our services to our native wildlife survives on donations only.
We rehabilitate mammals, amphibians and reptiles of KY , releasing them back into the wild in their native habitat.
We are a no K*ll facility so the animals that cannot be released back into the wild become our usda education ambassadors to help educate the public about their species to help us coexist.
Other things we provide is educational programs at schools, libraries birthday parties and other events.
We are licensed with the USDA and permitted by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and also the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council.
