This course will not only help you identify mental health illnesses but give you confidence and techniques on how to help others in need.As a pet owner, I share with many other pet owners, the benefits that dog walking, has on my mind and body, seeing the positive effects on my dog. Just petting your pet makes us feel happier and reduce our stress levels.
This course can form a natural progression, from our pet/canine advanced pet first aid course, or a standalone course, learning how pets affect our mental health wellbeing, and how we can learn to help others in need.
This course will not only help you identify mental health illness, also giving you confidence and techniques on how to help others in need, you know that person on the bench in the park; looking a bit distant or sad; or perhaps that older lady who just seeking a bit of company; or conversation; your stressed-out friend who just lost his job; your work colleague who doesn’t seem to be herself these day; you know who I mean, yet what can you do to help?
This course is interactive, where you learn self-help techniques about your own mental wellbeing, your own strengths, and learn how to develop these personal qualities helping others. Our course is designed as an uplifting and encouraging course, helping us to learn about our pet's natural instincts and so increasing our own understandings of mental wellbeing. This course uses self-help interactive assessment tools and templates that we can expand, to enhance our own personality, in a lovely, peaceful way to help ourselves and others.
We are sure you will find this course enjoyable and feel encouraged to complete our regulated Advanced Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace, regulated course, where you can incorporate these new skills into your own workplace and business.
