Join us for an innovative monthly educational program designed to ignite creativity and discovery in young artists ages 9-13. This hands-on learning experience uses artworks from the Hilliard’s permanent collection and exhibitions as inspiration, with the inaugural year focusing on portraiture through the lens of master artists such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Frida Kahlo, and Andy Warhol, as well as Louisiana artists including Charles St. Julian and Tom Secrest.
Through a “learning through making” approach, kids not only study art history but actively create their own unique masterpieces. Advanced registration required.
