About this Event

Please note that this event has been rescheduled until next year (9 May 2021). All registrations are valid for the new date and runners should have received an email with further details. Please contact the team on [email protected] if you have any questions.

For the first time ever, we are bringing our Where's Wally? fun run to Peterborough!

There will be a 5km course, with an option to run twice to complete 10km. The 5km is perfect for beginners or those looking to achieve a personal best. You can run, jog, walk or scoot the route!

Why not enter as a team with family, friends, colleagues or your school?  The largest team will receive 250 new books for a local school of your choice.

Every runner will receive:

  • Where's Wally? costume

  • Collectible medal

  • Fundraising support

But this isn't just a fun day out for all the family. Every penny raised from this event will help transform the life stories of children in some of the most deprived communities in Peterborough, by giving them the literacy skills they need to succeed in life.

The races:

5km / 10km - These routes are perfect for everyone, whether you are a first timer or chasing a personal best! It is clearly signposted to help you stay on the course. There will be plenty of marshals to help you too.

Timings:

  • 9:30am: Check in and costume collection open

  • 10.20am: Shout out and warm-up

  • 10:30am: 5k and 10k races start

How you will make a difference:

Every penny raised from this event will help give disadvantaged children in Peterborough the literacy skills they need to succeed. These children will be held back at every stage of their lives. They will struggle to do well in school or to find a job, and when they become parents won't be able to support their own child's learning - creating a vicious cycle of deprivation.
