About this Event
Available to all Peter Mac patients and to celebrate Carer's Week, one carer or friend welcome!
Girls Day Out was inspired by Emily Somers, founder of Bravery Co. Emily is a two-time survivor of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma who had difficulty accessing fashionable, well-designed head wear during treatment. Using her artistic background, she began designing headscarves resulting in the establishment of Bravery Co.
Coinciding with the Spring Racing Carnival along with Breast Cancer Awareness month, the day is an opportunity to take your mind off the rigors of cancer and treatment and will include:
- Pampering
- FREE Bravery scarf
- Bravery Co. scarf demo
- Sound Bath and Yin Yoga
- Treats and giveaways
- Music and mocktails
There are two sessions available on the day:
Session 1: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Session 2: 1:00pm - 4:00pm
If you are bringing a carer or friend, please remember to purchase two tickets; one for yourself and one for your guest.
We look forward to seeing you there!
