The Old Black Cat Jazz Club meet every third Friday of the month at Seventeen Nineteen, formerly Holy Trinity Church - an award winning venue with divine acoustics. Settle in with cabaret style seating and the finest of company for a laid back start to the festivities.
This month we are celebrating the season with Pete Tanton, The Man from Alabama, recently described as cool AND charismatic, his relaxed demeanour is the perfect acompaniment to a cozy christmas night out.
Pete will be supported by Alan Law, keys; Mick Shoulder, bass; Mark Robertson, drums, and theres rumours of a special guest, but just keep that one under your hat for now ;) Expect a mix of traditional carols and popular tunes ranging from Once in Royal David's City to the Charlie Brown theme, all with plenty of sing a long moments to get you in the mood.
Come along and join our regular crowd supporting grass roots music in a historic venue now entering the next chapter in its story.
