Saxophonist and composer Pete Fucinaro makes his debut at Walker's Jazz Lounge on his Little Window album release tour, featuring Brooklyn, NY based artists Ethan Ditthardt (guitar), Jared Beckstead-Craan (bass), and Alex Souris (drums).
Pete Fucinaro is a saxophonist and composer whose musical scope encompasses jazz and contemporary music. His compositions draw from a wide range of styles and genres while remaining rooted in the jazz tradition. His work is characterized by a fluid approach that explores complex musical spaces through tender and cinematic orchestration, evocative melodies, an emphasis on self expression through improvisation, and the exploration of a diverse range of musical practices.
Little Window is Pete Fucinaro's debut record, which explores Fucinaro’s diverse musical experiences, from classical chamber music to the avant-garde. These compositions are explored with depth and nuance by a brand-new band featuring Fucinaro on tenor sax and toy piano; Ebba Dankel on piano, synth, and voice; Ethan Ditthardt on guitar; Jared Beckstead-Craan on bass; and Alex Souris on drums. Little Window captures the vitality of a group finding joy in the music, playing together for the very first time.
