Gunhild Carling Bio:
Swedish musical sensation Gunhild Carling is an internationally acclaimed superstar whose show is a can’t-miss event! Whether she’s singing favorite swinging jazz standards, playing one of 11 instruments (trumpet, trombone, harmonica, oboe, harp, flute, recorder, or jazz bagpipe), juggling, tap dancing, or playing three trumpets at the same time, Gunhild’s sublime showmanship shines!
Carling masterfully takes audiences back to another era, performing memorable vintage songs—including “Minnie the Moocher,” “Sweet Georgia Brown,” “All of Me,” and “It Had to Be You”—in her seemingly endless repertoire. When she’s not touring with her own band, Carling performs as a guest musician with Postmodern Jukebox; she has been featured in the group’s swing version of “Material Girl” and hot jazz cover of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.”
