About this Event
An Evening of Connection, Reflection & Flowers
Join us on February 13th, 2026 from 6:30-9pm at Pyxis for Petals of Love, a cozy, creative gathering on Black Love Day (or Galentine's/Valentine's or Lupercalia) to celebrate love in all its forms: self-love, romantic love, platonic love, familial love, chosen family, love for our pets and communities, and so much more.
This evening is all about connection, community, creativity, and shared care. Expect to connect with community (old and new), set intentions for the love you want to call into your life this year, make your own bouquet arrangements (give yourself or someone else their flowers!), and bask in the light (and maybe a little darkness) of great company.
Attire: Special Occasion/Dress to Impress
Mood board: https://pin.it/6juLPDA3o
So many of us have an outfit we’re saving for the right moment, the right event, or the right person. This night is that moment. Wear the dress, the suit, the look, the shoes, the statement piece you’ve been waiting to wear. Dress in a way that makes you feel confident, celebrated, and fully yourself - however you define that is up to you. All forms of expression are welcome.

🖤✨ Honoring Black Love, Legacy & Lineage ✨ 🖤
An altar will be present in the space to honor Black legends, ancestors, and cultural lineage - those whose lives, creativity, resistance, and love continue to shape the world we live in today.
Guests are warmly invited (but never required) to bring a small offering to honor the space. Offerings can be symbolic, simple, and personal.
Appropriate offerings include:
- Fresh fruit
- Written notes of gratitude, love, or intention
- Crystals, mojo bags, herbal blends, spices (e.g., cinnamon, cloves, allspice, anise), dried flowers, oils, spirits, teas
- Coins or spare change
- Tokens that represent love, joy, or respect
Offerings should be respectful and easy to place. Nothing elaborate is expected, presence and intention are enough.
This altar is offered as a space of remembrance, reverence, and care, and participation is always optional.
