Join us for a fun-filled, feel good afternoon supporting an incredible cause. We’re hosting a pet friendly trivia fundraiser for Empower Assistance Dogs, raising vital funds to help change lives through professionally trained assistance, hearing and therapy dogs.

About Empower Assistance Dogs - Empower Assistance Dogs is dedicated to profoundly impacting the lives of individuals with disabilities by enhancing independence, confidence, and quality of life.
Through a rigorous and highly specialised program, Empower breeds, raises, and professionally trains government-certified Hearing &Assistance Dogs and also provides a team of Therapy Dogs that work in various settings such as hospitals and hospices, schools and community programs and they even provided support to witnesses at the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
These incredible dogs are far more than companions — they are life changing partners.
• Hearing dogs act as vigilant ears, alerting their handlers to important sounds
• Assistance dogs support people with physical and mental challenges by helping with daily tasks
• Therapy dogs provide comfort, companionship, and emotional supportEach dog takes 1.5–2 years to train and costs between $20,000–$55,000, depending on type of dog and individual needs.
Empower Assistance Dogs receives NO government funding. They rely entirely on the generosity of individuals, businesses and community fundraisers like this one.
