As the exhibition “Manifest Domesticity” continues, RiverBrink Art Museum invites you to celebrate the pets that bring so much love and joy into our lives. Whether it's your own cat or a friend's dog, this workshop is the perfect way to honor your beloved companions.
Katie Favell, a Hamilton-based artist and animal lover, has been guiding participants in creating beautiful pet portraits since 2018. She will pre-sketch your pet on canvas and guide you step-by-step through the process to create a fur-bulous masterpiece. 🖌️✨ Plus, for every ticket sold, Katie donates to a local animal rescue in the Niagara Region!
Important Info:
🖼️ Photo Submission: After purchasing your ticket, please email Katie a clear photo of your pet (head & shoulders) at least two weeks before the workshop.
🐾 No Pets in Studio: Please leave your pets at home. This is not a live-portrait workshop.
🎨 Paint Safety: Non-toxic, non-lead acrylic paints will be used to ensure the artwork is safe for homes with pets.
💡 Refund Policy: No refunds after March 29, 2025, as a customized canvas will be prepared for each participant.
