š¾ Join us for the Salt Lake County Animal Services Pet Crew Pantry, providing a helping paw to dog and cat owners in need! š¾ **Made Possible By**
The Pet Pantry is intended for dog and cat owners who cannot afford food for their pets. All pet food given out via the pantry has been donated by community members. The continuation of our Pet Pantry has been made possible by the generosity of Huck Liam McWoods & Family.
**How it Works**
ALL INDIVIDUALS MUST REMAIN IN THEIR CAR. Please be patient as the Pet Pantry has a high volume of participants. Once at the front of the line, employees will direct you to clearly marked pick-up stations.
You will pull up, and tell our staff:
- How many animals are in YOUR household
- If you are picking up for dogs, cats, or both
- Size of dogs (if applicable)
Due to high demand, each car is limited to ONE BAG of dog and/or cat food.
After collecting your food, feel free to pull over and explore our "yard sale" section.
- Stocked with supplies generously donated over the past
month, it may include items such as collars, leashes, toys,
blankets, and more.
- Specialized items like cat litter and beds may be available
upon request.
- We ask that individuals take only what they need, ensuring
that all pantry users can receive supplies.
**Traffic Flow**
Traffic cannot be backed up 500 W or 3900 S. Please DO NOT LINE UP BEFORE 8 AM.
- Enter from the North entrance on 500 W.
- If there are no more spots available in the parking lot. Please start lining up in the MIDDLE LANE of 500 W.
Do not try to enter the parking lot of Salt Lake County Animal Services once a line has formed. This includes parking on the side near the employee entrance or anywhere but the line in the middle lane of 500 W. Violators will be asked to move and sent to the back of the queue on 500 W.
Please be patient while waiting in line. We do our very best to make sure food supplies last until 10AM.
**Please Note**
To ensure we have enough supplies to help everyone the pantry can only give out 1 bag of dog and/or cat food per vehicle.
The pantry is not intended for:
- Community cats
- Distribution to multiple households
If you need food for these purposes, please ask staff for information on alternative resources.
**Donate to Support**
We're also accepting cat and dog food donations for this event! If you'd like to contribute, please email [email protected].
