THE 07s
NICOLAS RAGE vs PIANARDO DICAPRIO
On Saturday 7th December at The Hunter Club, we'll be spoiling you rotten with an unfeasibly corking Christmas cavalcade of eye-poppingly potent punk perfection as PET NEEDS join forces with FLEAS to bring Bury St Edmunds to its knees.
DIY heroes PET NEEDS are a furiously frenetic force of punk positivity; formed by brothers Johnny and George Marriott towards the end of the '10s, the band's infectiously inclusive wide-eyed stadium-ready enormo-anthems have taken them from their bedrooms in Colchester to World tours, critical acclaim, and a bona fide Top 20 album on a tiny indie label (2024's astonishing masterpiece 'Intermittent Fast Living'). This year alone has seen them (deep breath) touring the USA with Flogging Molly and Skinny Lister, Germany with Art Brut, the UK and EU with Against Me! legend Laura Jane Grace, tearing up festival main stages included Bearded Theory and Beautiful Days, recording live sessions for Radio X and ITV1 (covering Lily Allen, who then messaged the band to say she's a fan), plus headline tours around the UK, EU and USA, including a sellout Las Vegas residency. Now they're finishing off their year by playing the Hunter Club's smallest room on a £5 ticket, simply because they are lovely and want you to be happy. In short: they are the heroes we need.
As if that wasn't enough, Pet Needs will be joined by special guests, BSE garage-metal-punk astonishers FLEAS. Invariably a white-hot thrill-ride of total mayhem live, Fleas are much like The Matrix in that they cannot be adequately described using superlatives - you have to see them for yourself.
Rounding off the bill, we have ginormo-riff-dispensers MANIC STANLEY, 24/7 goodtime party starters THE 07s and a special one-off never-to-be-repeated appearance by NICOLAS RAGE vs PIANARDO DICAPRIO - a mysterious supergroup rumoured to include members of Jaded Teeth, Gaffa Tape Sandy, Horse Party, Blood Talk and The Daze, telling the tale of an epic battle royale between Hollywood titans.
Why would you miss this? Simply, don't.

THE HUNTER CLUB IS A SAFE SPACE
We take audience safety very seriously at The Hunter Club, and strongly believe that gigs can and should be safe spaces, free from harassment, intimidation, prejudice, bullying and violence. We expect that all artists, venue staff and attendees will respect our values, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards those who do not. Anyone who endangers the enjoyment and safety of others at a Washing Machine night will be ejected and barred. It is unfortunate that in the 21st Century we still have to say this stuff, but we hope that by doing so we can help to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy themselves.
