On October 5th from 11am to 3pm, St James’ Episcopal Church will hold a Pet Lollapalooza, an event for pet lovers and pets alike. The event will include a Blessing of the Animals, when the Rev. Don Hamer will bless each animal attending from 1:30 pm to 2:30pm. Other event activities will include: a pet photo booth, facepainting, and Pet Memorial board. All activities will be free of charge to all attendees. Community Partners are Fur Friends Spa & Bakery, ReHab 9, CT Humane Society, and Glastonbury CT Pride and Protectors of Animals. They will be on site to share information about their products and services and get to know our community. We will be collecting pet food donations for the CT Humane Society and Protectors of Animals.
