Pet Care & Ownership 101

Topics include: how to tell a reputable breeder from a backyard breeder, adoption vs purchase, getting your home ready for a new pet, routine care, diet, basic behavior and training tips, and the long-term commitment involved in pet ownership. There’ll be time for questions, and I’ll have some helpful info sheets to hand out like pet insurance brochures, pet emergency rooms within Connecticut, first pet checklist, and pet emergency checklists.
