October is Subaru Loves Pets month. Join us at Yark Subaru for a pet adoption and microchip clinic hosted by Planned Pethood!Planned Pethood will have dogs and cats that are available for adoption on-site. Planned Pethood utilizes a network of pet foster parents, who care for these pets while they await their forever homes.
Current dog and cat owners are invited to the microchip clinic, placing 100 FREE pet microchips for those whose pets are not yet protected. Should a pet get lost, the microchip, about the size of a grain of rice, allows veterinarians to scan the pet for an identification number that corresponds to its owner’s information.
The drive-up event is first come first served, and open to dog and cat owners.
Microchip clinic directions for pet owners: follow the posted signage along Fairbanks and enter Subaru via Fantasy Dr, then remain in your vehicle for the Planned Pethood team to direct you; dogs must be on leash and cats must be in carriers.
