Perth Folk and Roots Club is back at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club on Sunday 28th September 2025 with free music entertainment with the support of the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club. Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of musicβs contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are from 5pm to 8pm at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, 1 Stancliffe Street, Mount Lawley. For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has Turning Left and Damien Binder. Turning Left is a blues outfit of established Perth musicians including Gordon German on guitar and Steve Prescott on bass who have both been in some of the most successful bands in Perth over the years. Damien Binder is a singer-songwriter who has been writing and recording for more than 20 years and is an APRA Silver Scroll Award nominated artist and has performed internationally supporting some of the worldβs leading acts including David Gray, Marianne Faithfull and Ani Di Franco.
