✨ Is this event for free? Do I need to buy anything to attend?
Yes! Persuasion Readathon is a FREE event and there is no purchase requirement to attend.
✨ Is it okay if I've never read Persuasion before?
Yes! The readathon welcomes bookworms of various interests and starting points. Longtime fans may delight in the experience of seeing Jane Austen's last completed novel come to life, while curious attendees who have yet to read the book are encouraged to begin reading in the company of fellow readers.
✨ Do I need to be a selected reader to join the readathon?
No, attendees may participate as part of the audience. Make sure to sign up at bit.ly/fbevents2025 to receive updates and reminders about the event.
✨ Do I have to stay for the full eight hours?
Attendees may come and go during the readathon, but we encourage staying the full eight hours if you wish to start and finish the book with us.
✨ Is costume required?
Attendees who wish to come in Regency-inspired outfits get a chance to win Php 3,000 worth of Fully Booked Gift Card, but generally costume is not required to attend the readathon.
✨ Is there food provided?
Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be available at the event. We encourage bringing your own water bottles to keep hydrated.
✨ Do I need to have my own copy of Persuasion?
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own copy of Persuasion (whether physical or e-book). For those without, we will also have some copies of Persuasion available to borrow during the event on a 'first come, first served' basis.
Attendees bringing their personal physical copies are required to obtain a book pass from the customer service counter upon entry.
