Join Bob Speck for an experiential education workshop for caregiving participants who desire to practice in a group role-modeling kindness, generosity, patience, and critical thinking. We will practice humility, integrity, and a commitment to the whole-group. healing. This workshop will be an opportunity to explore the healing power of circle in the supportive company of other like-minded individuals, others who are also quietly enduring various challenges in their lives. The workshop will include: integrated practices of Humble Warrior Yoga (as developed by Bob) and the meditative practices of Yin Yoga; mindfulness-based outdoor hike; group healing-circle, intention-sharing, and reflective-listening practices.
Schedule:
10:00 am: Introductions (Meet at HOTV Yoga Studio) followed by hike to Equinox Preserve
12:00 pm: Humble Warrior Yoga practice at HOTV Yoga
1:30 am: Lunch in circle together
2:00 pm: Yin Yoga and Intention-Setting
2:45 pm: Healing Circle: The Power of Group Intention
3:45 pm: Reflections and Closure
4:00 pm: Adjourn
