About this Event
This online workshop is for parent carers of children aged 16 - 25 years with additional needs or disabilities (with or without a diagnosis) who live in Wales.
This session will help you to understand whether your young person may be eligible for PIP, will dispel common myths around PIP and the barriers to making a claim. It will also cover transitioning over from DLA to PIP
It will cover:
- Eligibility criteria
- Daily Living Component and mobility component of PIP
- Rates of PIP
- The point scoring and assessment process
- Transitioning from DLA to PIP and the process
- The appeals process.
A PDF copy of the workshop slides and useful resources will be emailed to all attendees after the workshop.
