What’s the point of keeping your photos, letters, and videos? Who might be curious about your life someday? What’s the best place to store your wedding photos?
This workshop with archivists from the Bentley Historical Library at the University of Michigan will answer all these questions and more. Learn how researchers use archives to understand the past and how you can best preserve your items with future generations in mind. In addition to advice, there will be some examples of archives and tools you can use.
In honor of Black History Month, we’ll also highlight some amazing archival collections you can use to better understand Black stories in Washtenaw County.
