About this Event
This workshop with an expert facilitator will provide case law and practical guidance on the complex issues around managing inclusive disciplinary and grievance processes beginning with ensuring they are heard legally and effectively but then managing appeals from the disciplinary and grievance processes.
Jon Taylor from EMW Law llp will facilitate this interactive workshop giving examples from case law which explain the practical methods for organisations to ensure the processes they use for staff lead to inclusive, legal, ethical, fair and compassionate outcomes. Statistics from public sector and some private section organisations continue to show disproportionate percentages of ethnically diverse and disabled staff raising grievances and being taken through disciplinary processes. Some organisations have created "inclusion advocates" to assist managers in ensuring diverse employees are treated fairly through the processes.
