The feature film Permanently Temporary will celebrate its premiere on November 11, 2024, at 7 PM, Filmcasino Vienna. The story centers on Miška, a Southeast European migrant from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who lives in Vienna and faces the visible scars of war as well as the hidden hurdles of bureaucracy and xenophobia.
The film combines personal, fictional, and social elements, delving into themes such as identity, belonging, and the emotional challenges of living between two worlds. Permanently Temporary sheds light on the resilience and vulnerability of marginalized communities.

Michael Podgorac, known as Mikal Maldoror, is a filmmaker and producer based in Vienna. His work focuses on topics such as (trans)migration and pluralistic remembrance, with a particular emphasis on the experiences of marginalized communities.
