The story centers on Miška, a Southeast European migrant from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who lives in Vienna and faces the visible scars of war as well as the hidden hurdles of bureaucracy and xenophobia.

Michael Podgorac, known as Mikal Maldoror, is a filmmaker and producer based in Vienna. His work focuses on topics such as (trans)migration and pluralistic remembrance, with a particular emphasis on the experiences of marginalized communities.
