JOIN US EVERY MONTH FOR OUR PERMACULTURE DESIGN GATHERING!Come together to explore and apply permaculture principles through hands-on activities, learning, and collaboration. Whether you're new to permaculture or looking to deepen your knowledge, this event offers a supportive space for all levels of experience.
ABOUT PERMACULTURE:
Permaculture is a design system that enables us to work with Nature to sustainably produce our food, energy, and other needs. It helps restore landscapes, rebuild biodiversity, and strengthen the resilience of Earth's ecosystems. By observing natural ecosystems, we see principles in action. Permaculture uses these principles to develop integrated systems that efficiently fulfill our needs for food, clean water, and energy, enhancing the quality of our lives, communities, and surroundings.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
--Morning Session-- (10:00 - 12:30):
For Beginners: A theoretical introduction to permaculture, covering key principles, tools, and concepts to lay the foundation for a regenerative approach to land and living.
For Experienced Participants: A deeper dive into a different permaculture topic each month, exploring advanced techniques and concepts to expand your knowledge and skills.
The session will be split into two groups based on experience level to ensure that everyone gets the most out of this time.
--Lunch Break-- (12:30 - 13:30):
A shared potluck lunch where everyone brings a dish to contribute, creating a nourishing and social atmosphere.
--Afternoon Session-- (13:30 - 16:00):
In the afternoon, participants will work on their own projects while engaging in collaborative design exercises with the group. As everyone contributes their skills and ideas, participants receive valuable feedback from the group’s collective input, helping refine and improve their designs. This hands-on, interactive session encourages learning through collaboration, allowing everyone to apply permaculture principles to their own projects and walk away with concrete ideas for how to move forward.
