Come join us for a community Permablitz work party as we transform Rob Strickland’s yard into a thriving food forest! Together, we’ll be:
• Planting fruit trees, perennial edibles, and companion plants
• Creating growing beds
• Spreading mulch to enrich the soil
• Building a banana circle for nutrient cycling and abundant harvests 🌴🍌
✨ What to Bring:
• Gloves, water, and your good energy
• Tools like rakes, shovels, and pitchforks (to help spread mulch)
• Plant donations or cuttings (fruiting plants, perennial edibles, herbs, pollinator plants, etc.) are encouraged and welcome!
• A dish to share for the community potluck lunch
🔥 After the work is done, Rob will be grilling chicken, pork, and other meats, so please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to contribute and enjoy a hearty shared meal together.
No experience is necessary—just a willingness to dig in, learn, and have fun.
