About this Event
The final day of the 3rd annual California State Parks Week features the theme "Care for Our Shared Lands". To promote this theme, we're adding a new spin to our weekly "hot beverage & cool information" program, Perk Up in the Park (our version of "coffee with a ranger"). We will have our usual selection of coffee, tea, and cocoa (graciously provided by the Friends of Mt Tam), but our specific cool information will be about all the volunteer opportunities available on Mount Tamalpais, whether with State Parks or with our One Tam partners. The other change to this program is that we will move up from the Pantoll Kiosk to the more open and relaxed space around the Pantoll Stage in the campground.
There is no need to register or order tickets for this event -- you can stop by any time during the event hours. Feel free to join us for a quick chat before a hike or before heading to the pancake breakfast at the West Point Inn. Or bring a folding chair and hang out for a while! There is no fee to participate, but there is an $8 per vehicle fee to park at Pantoll. The Pantoll Campground can also be accessed by Marin Transit's Stagecoach Route 61 bus.
