An invitation to retreat from daily responsibilities for the afternoon and invest in yourself for a change. All women age 35+ and/or in early or surgical menopause as well as post menopause and any woman interested in learning more, most welcome.
This life stage can feel challenging and isolating, with a sense of loss of self, overwhelm, poor sleep, anxiety, irritability, brain fog, joint pain, worsening migraine...
Perimenopause symptoms usually start around age 40, but women often realise only in retrospect. We're so adept at pushing on through, but what used to work for us doesn’t any longer and there's no medal for struggling alone.
* Enjoy gentle, mindful hatha yoga flows, breath work and mediation; before yielding to stillness in Yin and Restorative yoga.
* Connect in a women's circle, with chance to be heard, reflect, learn. Share experiences, wisdom, knowledge, vulnerabilities...Contribute only as much or as little as feels right.
Every woman is unique but we will all experience menopause. I will guide you to discover what lifestyle tweaks might work you - your own personal “toolkit” to help manage symptoms and safeguard future health.
* Find deep, nourishing rest - cocooned in bolsters, blankets, cushions, lavender eye-pillow over the eyes. This is not "Instagram yoga" - it's yoga for the soul, specifically tailored to menopause.
No yoga experience or bendiness needed at all.
