Join us for a workshop about Slam Poetry. This workshop is for beginners to Slam. We will walk through the entire process of a slam competition from before the beginning, to after the end! We will use this modality to explore the benefits of performing our poetry. We write our poetry and when we read it it loud, it takes on a different life. Maybe, you might agree that it levels up. Well, performing your poem levels it up even more!
While this workshop was created for poets who have signed up to perform at our upcoming Poetry Slam, everyone is welcome! If you are slam-curious, this workshop is informal, free, and open to the public.
