Safari Badminton presents an opportunity for players to improve their technical and tactical knowledge and execution in this 5hr performance coaching sessions lead by Martyn Lewis. Coach Martyn is a former Welsh International, has held a top 20 world ranking, is a 3 times Commonwealth Games athlete, a 9 times Welsh National Campion and National Badminton League coach.Whether you want to come with your playing partner or come for personal enjoyment and development there is something for everyone.
Performance coaching sessions will be doubles based and include attacking, defending and rotation drills with an emphasis on playing position, racket carriage, shot choice, technical movement and footwork. Understand when to build attacking shots and know when to defend with the best choice of shots and movement.
Each session will be supported by additional Level 2 Badminton England qualified coaches (depending on numbers in attendance) to support player understanding, learning and development.
