Chef Ed Aloise has owned and operated four highly successful restaurant concepts. Ed and his wife, Claudia, opened the first certified farm-to-table restaurant establishment in the State of New Hampshire in 2010—Republic Café in Manchester. In 2012, they were James Beard National Semi-Finalists for Best Restaurateurs. Since leaving the day-to-day operations of his restaurants, Ed has established a hospitality consulting company, has been a sought-after guest chef, and recently published his first book of fiction short stories.
