About this Event
Let us explore together the exhibition “Arcimboldo – Bassano – Bruegel” at the Museum of Fine Arts, Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. The unique choice of sixteenth century paintings invites us to self-reflection and a vivid exchange of stories on how we perceive time and change. Time perception varies across cultures and has changed in the 21st century due to the digitalization and synchroneity of being in various spaces simultaneously. In our Visual Intercultural Storytelling Art Adventure, we are going to collect inspirations from the pieces of art as much as from other participants on how the human perception of time can be more tuned with nature and how art inspires us to talk about our own preferences and attitudes across cultures.
After the short check-in and an intro to the theme, we are going to visit the exhibition and get inspirations from the artworks, followed by a conversation in the group and an exchange of impressions and stories in the Visual Story Circles.
PLEASE NOTE, the entrance ticket to the museum costs 21 EUR and is paid additionally to the workshop fee.
