The Perambulating Pink Piper is cycling across Canada (while holding down a job), unaided and all alone - except for his life-long imaginary friend Norman No-Mates. He will leave in August to cycle the next section of the tour, from Winnipeg to Toronto, a planned distance of 2,200kms. Paul Mulgrew and the fine folks at Black Kettle have made the illustrious Perambulating Pink Piper Pale Ale beer, with the delightful label on the cans. We had the Farewell and Bon Voyage party at Black Kettle on July 17, where we all tried (unsuccessfully) to drink out the stock of Perambulating Pink Piper Pale Ales :-)
Well good news - we will be having a Welcome back party for the "Slightly Grubby and Pungent" Perambulating Pink Pied Piper, where we can have another go at it!!!! Paul Mulgrew, GM will be pouring $7 pints, while Rory Wimberley, finest line cook, will be getting the burgers flowing.
This will also be a fund-raiser for the Perambulating Piper Piper's GoFundMe page https://www.gofundme.com/f/pink-perambulating-piper-cycle-across-canada. Or scan the QR code on the Perambulating Pink Piper Pale Ale.
The Pink Pipers passions are poetry and bagpiping, preferably simultaneously. All donations will therefore be split between Word Vancouver https://www.wordvancouver.ca/, and Robert Malcolm Memorial (RMM) Youth Pipe Band https://sfupipeband.com/rmmpb/
