About this Event
Every year, MTR produces PEPPERS in Tommy's Place at USC. With performances featuring comedy, acapella, and musical theater student run organizations— Peppers is an exciting spring semester event!
This year, all proceeds from the event will be donated to BEAUTY 2 THE STREETZ. A $5 donation (via venmo) at the door will be much appreciated. Doors will open at 8:30pm.
A few words about BEAUTY 2 THE STREETZ:
For the past seven years, BEAUTY 2 THE STREETS © has been providing food, clothing, hair, makeup services, health and hygiene items to thousands of people in the downtown Los Angeles area. Started by Shirley Raines, BEAUTY 2 THE STREETZ makes people in the unhoused community feel beautiful and human. BEAUTY 2 THE STREETZ is a beacon of hope in LAʼs ever-increasing unhoused community. Every Saturday, rain or shine, Raines and her team come out to share a hot home-cooked meal, conversation, and most importantly connection.
