This year marks the 25th anniversary of the beloved Children’s Arts Festival. We will be celebrating the artistic contributions of educators and students across the SEMO region to commence Youth Art Month, which takes place every February.
This year, we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Children's Arts Festival with a Beatles theme, and in addition to over 200 works of visual art from regional schools, will feature performances from students from Scott City, Cape Central, the SEMO Music Academy, SEMO Strings under the direction of Dr. Sophia Han, and The Abbey Road Warriors, a Beatles tribute band, thanks to a generous grant from the Missouri Arts Council.
All Arts Council proceeds support after-school programming for the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Missouri. We encourage you to participate in the First Friday, family-friendly activities, and to join us on Saturday for afternoon and evening performances.
