In a sea of Beatles tribute bands, the North Bay’s Pepperland stands above the rest. The band is known for “rocking The Beatles” and adding new dimensions to the Fab Four’s classics as well as to deeper cuts. Founded in 2009, Pepperland commands a large and loyal following. They have performed in cities across the West including Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and San Diego. In 2020, the band members went their separate ways reuniting in 2022 to play show at Sebastopol’s Hopmonk Tavern in honor of fallen former members Will Campbell and Steve Buck. The event was such a success that two years later they have decided to again reform for a one-off show on November 24th, again at Hopmonk Tavern. The current lineup is Davy Alder (vocals), Robert Butler (guitar), Jane Fosgreen (sax), Vince Szydlowski (guitar, keys), Kent Fosgreen (bass), and Robin Zickel (drums).
