A native of Madrid, Spain he has been performing in Portland since his arrival in 1985 when he relocated from NYC to dance with Oregon Ballet Theater. Following his ballet retirement he has performed as a co-headliner at Harvey’s Comedy Club and other local clubs as a stand up comic for several years. As a SAG member he has appeared in several films and TV commercials. He has performed with The Portland Opera, The Musical Theater Company, The Oregon Symphony, Triangle Productions, Music Theater of Oregon, Pink Martini, amongst many others and has been leading Pepe & The Bottle Blondes since 1997. He’s proud to have made Portland, Oregon his home for almost 39 years.This show will include a number of songs from Latin America countries such as Cuba, Argentina, Mexico and Spain from the 30’s and 40’s. A touch of Blues and a touch of Torch and perhaps even a little German by our lovely guest Nadine Stanton.There will be some humor in the form of a light hearted review on cultural differences regarding the writing of love songs. Accompanied by Bottle Blondes’ pianist Sid Bos.
