Peoria Players is proud to announce a special musical revue happening the final weekend of 2023! Directed by Bryan Blanks, “The Best is Yet to Come, A Tribute to Tony Bennet and Friends” is a celebration of a legend who brought us decades of unforgettable and timeless music. Several of your favorite Tony Bennett tunes and collaborations will be performed by some of this area’s best talents. Bid farewell to 2023 in the most elegant fashion! This production is a musical revue that will feature songs from Tony Bennett's 70-year career, as well as selections from Lady Gaga, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Queen Latifah and other great artists he collaborated with over the years. Vocalists include Director Bryan Blanks, Anne Leiter, Lisandra Mercado Torres, Michael Hurt, Bruce Colligan, Michelle Watson, Ayana Thompson, Anita Foster, Carl Williams, Joe Meier, Via Vicary, Helaina Kalman, Kayla Harvey, Liv Sims, Kennedy Custer, Lindsey Ropp, Aiden Forman, Delaney Taylor as well as guest performances from Pleasant Valley’s Drama program.
