About the Presenter: Dr. Ashley Cross is the Founder and Executive Director of HOPE585, a Rochester, NY based organization committed to creating a relationship-centered community where marginalized youth and their families can hope, heal, and thrive. With a heart full of passion and a deep commitment to advocating for children and families, Ashley has dedicated her life to building and sustaining hope.
Her leadership journey includes establishing the first girls’ home in Tulsa, OK, raising awareness about issues affecting girls in foster care and youth aging out. Through civic engagement, mobilizing the local church, and a dedicated community, Dr. Ashley has purchased properties to house girls aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness in both Oklahoma and New York.
Ashley serves on the boards of Causewave Community Partners, and the Council of Agency Executives, and has previously been on the boards of Bivona Child Advocacy, Mona’s House, and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Non-Profit Management, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, all from Oral Roberts University. Dr. Cross empowers individuals and organizations through education, coaching, and powerful training, helping to build a culture of hope in every community she touches.
