Hey everyone!
“The People’s March is a coalition of organizations building community power and working on many issues across the country…Our unity honors both our shared and different experiences across race, gender, sexuality, class, immigration status, faith, disability, and more.”
❣️This will be a peaceful march displaying our solidarity with one another and all the injustices we face.
🚫No megaphones, follow street/traffic signs, do NOT block pedestrian traffic on sidewalks, do NOT block the roads.
📍We will meet at the courthouse and march around Main St & Morgan Square where there will then be time for anyone that would like to speak, sing, or simply unite with those that are likeminded. City police are aware of our presence. Although they are aware, I’m also going to be contacting the county as well because the courthouse is their property. I don’t have any doubt that the city police will work with us- as they have allowed pride marches and BLM marches in the past. I wanted to thank everyone for being patient. Also- I thank you all for the courage to show up and exercise your rights🖤 I hope to see you all there Saturday.
