The Committee
The PEO Grand River 30 by 30 Committee hosts events geared towards female engineering students and professionals in the workplace with the goal of raising the percentage of newly licensed engineers who are women to 30% by the year 2030. The committee welcomes participants of all gender identities!
The Event
This event will focus on Navigating Life Changes (ie. becoming a caregiver, starting a family, & menopause). Our speaker Kelly Knoll, will give a talk on an Introduction to Menopause. You will learn about how menopause affects almost all women, what to expect, and how to support others in your life/workplace. We will then have a panel discussion about life changes people might experience while working in the engineering field.
About the Speaker
Kelly Knoll, is a North American Menopause Society certified specialist and Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in diverse healthcare environments, including hospitals, palliative care, addiction services, community clinics, and virtual practice.
