PEO Brantford Chapter Annual Perch Dinner with Guest Speaker
This year's guest speaker is Veronika Dornan (she/her/hers), an astronomy PhD student at McMaster studying the relationship between globular star clusters and dark matter in galaxies with her supervisor Dr Bill Harris. She is originally from Ottawa, Ontario but spent four years in the maritimes getting her undergraduate degree at Mount Allison University. Her talk will be on the science behind the various astronomical events we've been experiencing in Ontario this year.
Doors will open at 5PM. Dinner is scheduled for 6PM. Veronika will be speaking after dinner. There will be a cash bar operated by the Erie Beach Hotel.
Dinner tIckets are $40 for a PEO member and $50 for a guest of a PEO member. Limit of one guest ticket per member.
