Join the Brampton Chapter for a guided, technical tour of Toronto Pearson’s 117-MW Co-Generation Plant, supporting airport-wide electrical and thermal loads. Hosted by plant engineers, the tour highlights LM6000 gas turbines, MV switchgear/relays, transformers, SCADA/HMI, grounding/arc-flash safeguards, oil containment, and critical services (UPS/HVAC).
Who should attend
P.Engs, EITs, students (16+), and technically curious guests.
Capacity is limited to 20.
Safety & site rules (mandatory)
- PPE: steel-toed shoes/boots & hard hat (bring your own).
- Prohibited: photography, bags/backpacks, jewelry, shorts.
- On arrival: sign-in + tailboard/FLRA briefing; follow all host instructions.
- Late arrivals cannot be admitted.
Timing & assembly
Please arrive by 9:30 am to complete sign-in.
Tour runs from 10:00 am –12:00 pm.
