Lancashire People’s Theatre present Lancashire Briefs ’24, a series of brand new monologues by Lancashire writers, performed by Lancashire actors.
This is LPT’s third appearance at #lancsfringe. Their monologues – written by Lancashire writers and performed by Lancashire actors – are the cornerstone of everything which #lancsfringe stands for and have been the most popular and well attended events at the previous two festivals, with audiences of 100+ at each event.
In 2024, LPT take their monologues show to community venues across Preston and South Ribble (Thurs/Fri Sept 27/28) to engage with new audiences before their final show at The Continental (Sun Sept 29).
Lancashire Briefs had an explosive #lancsfringe debut in 2019, where 14 monologues were performed across two nights to the biggest audiences of the festival.
In 2022, LPT delivered a mesmerising night at The Continental’s Boatyard theatre space for a capacity crowd – again the busiest night of the festival.
LPT are Anthea Carpenter-Procter and Neil Procter.
Lancashire actors will bring these monologues to life under the guidance of Lancashire People’s Theatre’s Anthea Carpenter-Procter.
