The Last Showgirl tells the story of Shelly, a long-serving Las Vegas showgirl, as she navigates the end of her career when the show she stars in, "Le Razzle Dazzle," is abruptly closed after 30 years. The film explores themes of aging, identity, and the challenges women face in a youth-obsessed industry, as Shelly grapples with her uncertain future and the loss of her lifelong passion. The story also delves into her relationships with her daughter, friends, and fellow performers as she confronts this major life transition.Note - our planned screening of Jaws has been postponed due to licencing restrictions following it's re-release in theatres. Apologies.
