The four-day diocesan Eucharistic Pilgrimage begins on Pentecost Sunday, May 19, with stops at several Bridgeport churches on the first day. Saints Cyril & Methodius has the privilege of being chosen as one of the station churches. To mark the occasion, we will hold Solemn Choral Vespers of Pentecost in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament (which will be held instead of the usual 6:00 p.m. Sunday Vespers), sung by our choir with Gregorian chant and polyphony.
Bishop Caggiano will be attending the ceremony, as well as several clergy and many of the seminarians of the diocese. The celebrant of Vespers will be the rector of the Oratory.
