FEAST:
Tour of Europe: Winter Dishes Each course represents a different region of medieval Europe.
-Course 1 (England): Leek & Parsnip Pottage with Poached Egg – a creamy vegetable soup with a soft egg centerpiece.
-Course 2 (Norse): Smoked salmon, fresh horseradish, capers, creme fraiche, pickled onions, anything else - flat breads, some kind of dill cheese spread maybe or a dill creme fraiche
-Course 3 (Germany): Wild Boar with Beer-Juniper Gravy – sliced roast boar with malt-rich sauce.
-Course 4 (Eastern Europe): Cabbage Stew with Caraway & Smoked Sausage – hearty, aromatic, garnished with dill.
-Course 5 (France): Pear Tart with Clove & Nutmeg Custard – pear slices layered over spiced custard in a shortcrust.
Bread: Rye Bread with Caraway (German style) – fragrant, hearty loaf that pairs with meat and cabbage.
-There may be finger foods at the table upon arrival as well.

Contests (prizes TBD):
-Mulled Wine and Cider competition (alcoholic and non-alcoholic classes, please bring a minimum of 2L)
-A&S Bean Count (get an extra bean for entries associated with any festive winter holiday)
-Place Setting Competition
-Youth Activity (making sock puppets of dragons or whatever you can imagine)
-Music and Dancing
Baroness’ Concert 1-3pm, bardic and caroling to follow
