About this Event
We will spend the morning tree planting along the banks of the River Usk at Penpont. We will be planting riparian buffers along the river's edge to protect it from sediment, flooding, and to create new habitat for our local wildlife. We are seeking local people to help us on this journey towards reviving nature in our valley!
Supported by Action for Conservation and our Youth Leadership Group & Rangers, we will share stories and skills for tree ID and have a soup lunch and warm drinks in the Stables. The fires will be lit!
All ages are welcome and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Please sign up quickly as we have limited spaces available! Bring warm clothes, waterproofs and wellies!
